Miel et Montagne is an artisanal beekeeping farm and honey products shop, located at the lower end of the village of Les Vigneaux in the Hautes-Alpes. Passionate beekeepers and harvesters, Karine and Guillaume offer a wide range of organic honeys collected throughout the local flowering seasons, according to the seasons and the typical nectar-producing plants of the Alpine region.
Their hives produce a variety of honeys: mountain honey, forest honey, chestnut honey, acacia honey, lavender honey, high-altitude honey, heather honey, and fir honey, as well as pollen. The honeys are available both in jars and in bulk, with the option for customers to bring their own containers to reduce packaging.
In addition to honey, Miel et Montagne offers a selection of honey-based products: beeswax candles, soft nougat, sweets, and honey jams, perfect as gourmet gifts or handcrafted souvenirs from the Pays des Écrins. A 24/7 vending machine is also available next to the shop, making purchases easy outside opening hours.
The shop is open all year round, with seasonal opening hours, allowing visitors, lovers of local products, and tourists to discover these authentic honeys in the heart of a region rich in Alpine flora.
